So for what I do everyday, it requires using my knives a lot and not just for cutting, Lotta scraping and prying as well. I usually carry a fixed blade too but Im always looking for a good, heavy duty, front pocket, lockback, pocket clip folder. For the last few months I can't seem to get away from my spyderco endura (Orange) so I don't lose it in the mud. takes a beating keeps an edge etc. what do you guys carry or recommend from experience? Btw I prefer lockback as dirt/mud gets stuck in linerlocks.

I have found this to be a useful tool, though there is no pocketclip.

I have a few I rotate along with jk's, there all my favorite, sorry

this one had to move on but I really liked it

this modified (by mykem) opinel is awesome

I like the Endura too, but I'm still a fan of the Buck 110 in a belt pouch. You can get them for $35, they are tough, and if you lose one it's no big expense to replace it.

If you can do a belt pouch check out the Smith and Sons Mudbug. Considerably thinner than the 110 so pocket carry is more comfortable.

As for my EDC, it's a Spyderco Centofante III and it is perfect for my needs. Might be a bit thin for your needs but worth looking at.

The other that I like to use is a Buck Bantam 285. ~$20 - $30 depending on the color you want.

Yea big fan of the 110's and like you say, not out much if you lose it! Durable knife too! Got a couple in the rotation!

This has been my knife for about five months now and I am actually content for once. This is probably the longest I have carried the same knife in about four year when I started buying more expensive knives than Walmart specials.

I like both of these guys (Ambitious and Resilience)....

This is also one of my favorites, Manix II XL. The Kershaw Thermite is a pretty good low cost option.

My Benchmade minigrip has gotten me out of some jams. I certainly don't baby it...

I have really come to prefer knives with pocket clips. Somehow I'd rather have a ragged front pocket than a holey back pocket. Spyderco has not let me down. The Endura and the Delica are 2 of my favorites among others. Those 2 are truly EDCs for me - carried even when I am wearing a sheath knife. Any other folders are casual use or special purpose knives, simply in the rotation.

The GEC 99 Wall Street rides with me most days, though yesterday I was attending "events" so the Soda Scout was put to work.

I kind fo went the other direction, from not understanding why you'd carrying a knife witout a pocket clip to carrying saks and tarditionals, think [art of it is wen you have a fixed balde on you (JK) mostly fo the time it just it felt like the modern fodler was redundant :D

I actually have been carrying my skeletool CX quite a bit. Very handy tool.

I have a a leather man with justa knife and the pliers, forget the model, but I'm also nicley surpised when I think to carry it, there nice tools

I don't disagree ky I really prefer the pocket clip cause my hands are usually really muddy and I'm trying to avoid sticking them in my pocket.
