Favorite grinds/geometry?

Ok..so what are your favorite grinds and geometries? We all have a lot of different needs to be filled by our knives and thus we all have specific shapes that best suits those needs.

I myself like drop, clip, or spear point blade with a flat grind and convexed edge. I tend to use my knives for things like cutting cardboard, packaging (especially annoying clamshell stuff) and I like a blade that is thin enough to be a little flexible that won't bind. I also like Buck's hollow grinds, they're very good cutters and are close to matching my flat grind preference.

For larger fixed blades I like a flat ground blade with a convex edge, or a full convex grind. Chris Reeve fixed blades are my exception to these preferences: the function, fit, and finish are so good that I’ve grown to like the hollow grind on their big knives.

For small fixed blades and folders I like either a flat or hollow grind with a convex edge.

Getting the balance right between cutting ability and lateral strength must be a difficult task, and I’m glad that so many makers do such a good job.

A convex edge is hard to beat, but they are very tricky to sharpen for me. I like the flat grinds as well.

Full convex grind and edge. In my experience, this combo works great with large and small knives.

For what purpose are we talking about? Skinning out a mule deer or cutting up the carrots and tomatoes?

I didn't mean for each individual use, I meant for your EDC. In other words, if you were carrying a folder, what grind do you prefer?

For me, the sabre grind (I think) on the Delica and hollow grind on my BM 556 Mini Grip. Drop point style in the Mini-Grip and the pointy shape on Delica handles just about everything I need to do. Spear point on my M16-03 is nice as well, when I'm EDC'ing it. The bladeshape on my Spydie Centofante III and combined with the hollow grind is growing on me the more I use it though :D

For the cutting blade, clip point, full hollow on 1/16" stock, ~0.005" edge, highest cutting ability and ease of sharpening. For the utility blade, traditional tanto tip, flat grind on 3/16" stock, ~0.025" edge, strong enough for body weight prying and can work knots readily, chisel cut nails if necessary and easily handles bone.
