Knives are just awesome. The look, the feel, the usefulness. Everyone has a favorite knife. What's yours? Why?

I've only been into knives for a couple of years. Initially, my obsession started with chef knives...and transfered into EDC users. I can't choose just one, I have favorite knives for different chores.

Favorite Kitchen Knives:
Mac 6.5" santoku. Tough as nails, sharper than hell.
Fujiwara 10" gyuto. A nice long agile chef knife. Slices like a laser.
Shun 3.5" pairing knife. Love this knife for small intricate work. The edge seems to last forever and never chips out or rolls over. Very comfortable handle.

EDC
Spyderco Tenacious. My first "real" quality EDC. While it isn't the nicest knife in the world, it see's a lot of use and holds a special place in my heart.

Most comfortable EDC Bark River Frontier Patch knife. The handle is just big enough for my hand, with a nice short tool steel blade. This is my goto knife for most cutting chores.
