Whenever I see one of these threads a couple of things go through my mind. I'm always happy to share my knives, post pics and answer any questions. Let's face it, the reason I'm here and have been here so long is that I love knives and sharing that love with other like minded people.
So when I see a thread like this I usually pass over because it's just like all the other "Let's see your knife" threads here and the ones that get the most traffic are the established ones that are on page 1 and have hundreds if not thousands of replies. So if I'm gonna open a new one the title is what draws me in and I gotta say, this one did nothing for me but I bit outta curiosity anyway.
When I open it I expect to see a description of the original poster's favorite knife/knives is/are. You don't even tell me what you have or like. Let alone post a pic of your knife/knives. So at this point you've already lost me. To me it seems like you couldn't even be bothered to check out the dozen or so "Post your knife." threads already here. Trust me you'll see a lot more knives in those threads than you will in this one.
It's not too late though, fill out your profile first, it helps folks to get an idea of the type of interests you have and to know you better. Next tell us what you like, lead in by answering your own question first and then post a pic of your knife. Can't take a pic? Look on the internet and find a pic of your knife and post that with the disclaimer that it's not your pic. There's always pics of either similar knives for production knives and almost every custom sold has a pic on the internet somewhere.
Please help us to help you newer members. We can't read minds and many of us have lives outside of BFC and are more than willing to help and answer questions for new members interested in knives but have better things to do than read, figure out what the OP wants and then answer a thread that probably won't even get looked at again.
Just my two cents worth and breaking with my normal posting practice I will post some pics of my favorites before the OP posts his.
Here's one of my favorites a gift from a friend a large Sebenza 21 with Gabon Ebony inlays.
Another is a Custom Lanny's Clip I won in a Blade Show Give Away held here now BFC by another member.
