What have been your favorite knives you’ve carried in 2023?

Folders? Fixed? Autos? OTF’s? Flippers? A little of everything?

Here’s what I’ve liked and carried the most during 2023 :

An old favorite that got new life breathed into it by modification was the Cru-Wear Manix

Favorite combo was a Buck Sprint pro and Vic Cadet that I customized to match a Boker Trapper

Favorite hiking knives were the Tagged out and a Benchmade fixed blade that I can never remember the name of

Favorite new purchase was the Victorinox Winemaster

And the one that got the most work, as I bought and renovated a house in 2023, was the S90V Para 3

A lot of pictures didn’t get saved to my google cloud so when my phone died I lost a lot.
Here’s a few pics, but my favorites this year:

Spyderco Southard
Heretic Medusa and Manticore E (neither pictured)

Two clear favorites from the year, for me.

First was a MagnaCut Small Sebenza. The ideal small, slim pocket knife for me.

The other favorite, carried even more than the Sebenza, was a Paramilitary 2 in CPM 15V blade steel. I'm a hopeless steel nerd, and this stuff has really impressed me. And the PM2 is second only to the Sebenza as my favorite pocket knife model overall, so it makes for a combination that I just keep coming back to.

In the fixed blade category, I'll throw in this little Gossman UNK in AEB-L. Covers all my "outdoors" knife needs in a small package (3 inch blade length).

Many thanks! If I'm being honest though, there's about 10 not so good ones for every one that turns out like I hoped, plus I must give the credit for my outdoor pics to the natural beauty I'm lucky to be surrounded by. I sure have fun taking them though, and appreciate having a place like this to share them 👍
