Favorite Mora?

I kind of like the KJ Eriksson 1044P "Fishing Bowie". Plastic grip, carbon steel.

I haven't seen taht one it looks awesome. Is that the size of the Mora #223?

And to the OP, I am a big fan Of the 840 MG in carbon or stainless. it is a good size with very comfortable grips. The robust seems cool too, but I don't really see the point in a thicker mora than my 840. But I haven't gotten one yet to check out and give an opinion.

For EDC purposes I like the Robust that I bought a few months ago. Lightweight and comfortable knife.

If you are after a stainless knife then the Mora 2000 is my reccomendation. Its the precursor to the above pictured Bushcraft Forest, but with a different handle and sheath (I think iirc the blade is also a tad longer).

It has, in my mind, the best handle shapes of all the Mora knives, and I find its excellent in all grips and positions due to its classic, neutral ergos. The grind is admittedly a bit unique but very effective.

As for their carbon offerings, if you can pcik up one of their 640/Viking/Tradesman models, I think its got one of the most comfortable guarded handles without the swell that the HighQ models, such as the Robust has. Its also the cheapest model by far (Maybe its been discontinued now though???), I wish I'd bought more/not given a few away, when i scored some for about $5 each!!

The blade is slightly shorter and thicker. The weight is almost the same. It's also the same carbon steel: Uddeholm UHB 15LM (eq. to AISI 1080). Unfortunatelly, there is no sheath. The edge get's wickedly sharp. Full zero-edge scandi grind, about 18 degrees in total.
