Right: Standard production; 2015 date code. 425HC clip point blade with Brushed/Satin Finish.

Left: 2018 date code 110LT LE. I forget if Buck called it "The Racer" or "NASCAR". "Stone Washed" 425HC blade

Top: SK Blades "The Gentleman". NS bolsters and liners, black G10 covers. Drop point
CPM 145 blade, with Brushed/Satin Finish. Custom Shop Anvil with a "B" tang stamp. I'm pretty sure it dates from 2017.
This was the last one Stephan/SK Blades had in stock, and was clearance priced. I think I bought it in January, 2018, several months prior to my stroke, although it could have been in December of 2017.

Bottom:
SK Blades "SMOKE JUMPER" SFO 110LT Stone Washed CPM 154 clip point blade. 2018 date code.

I shore nuff does wish the auto focus on my tablet worked. Sorry about that. :(

What are your favorite and most carried 110's?

I have plenty of 110s . I just don't carry any of them. Your typical 110 is too heavy for pocket carry and i prefer clips.Other than that i would probably break the tip alot as I am a mechanic by trade and tend to use my knife alot for thinds other than cutting. If i did it would be my lochsa but i just can't bring myself to use that knife.I even have another 110 that is buildout that looks much like the lochsa but 440 steel cant bring myself to use that one either.

In my state it's against the law to pocket carry a knife with a blade over 3.5 inches - it is considered a concealed weapon. But in a belt sheath, the 110 is not considered concealed. I don't really enjoy sheath carry, so I stick to a 112 slim or Lt in the pocket.

I carry a 110 when I go out in the field...these are the ones I usually choose from. The middle is my favorite and most carried.

I like your choices.
Every time I get an LT someone comments how much they like it so I give it away.

Good to see your posting pics now too!

As for my most carried it would be a toss up between 110 Alaskan guide,110 slim pro, 110 LT. My 110 Damascus stag is one of my favorites, I carried a lot back about 12 years ago but I’ve kinda retired it to occasional use. My most favorite is the 110 silver fox I got from SKBlades that has 20cv drop point blade, NS bolsters and burlap micarta handle. It’s a great knife and I will be using it more when I go camping. All together I have 9 - 110s in various design and metals including an automatic. It’s getting more difficult to work all of them into the rotation. Lol. And I have 2- 112s I use in between times.

I dont have a favorite really. the lochsa and Houser made 440c version of it, are always in my group of favorites.

I am diggin on my drop point ebony one lately. nothing really special about it, but it's a good overall user. I rotate them around sometimes, but that is one i carry a lot in the belt sheath.

see ya put a pic of ya in your avatar. thats a beard there. also like your cowboy hat, one of these days I need to pony up and spend the money for one.

I cannot say enough good things about the 110 Slim with Micarta scales. The more I use it the better it gets. The S30V blade may not develop a Patina but the awesome Micarta keeps looking better and better. This one was the model Buck used for the initial photos when introducing the knife. Nothing different, just an early build.. no blade play at all. Very smooth action.20200725_083230.jpg 20200725_083253.jpg 20200725_083309.jpg 20200725_083317.jpg

Cool.
I bought your used green one.
I don't carry a 110 as much as a 112, but that knife probably gets used the most of my 110's.
Funny, I carry the 110 slim more than my 112 slim.

I have a cowboy hat with a Buck sticker on the front that I'll trade ya for one of those Lochsa's. :D:rolleyes:

These three are the ones I use regularly; they are my main outdoorsman knife for general purpose use - always in a Buck sheath. Top one is a Two-Dot, picture taken right after it returned from the Buck Spa Service about three years ago (complete with Edge 2000 on the 440C blade - sharp!). The middle one is a Three-Dot, I traded for it here on Blade Forums five or six years ago, had it on my hip all day earlier this week as I bass fished in the mountains. The bottom one is a 1988 variation of 425MOD blade steel - back in those days I sold Gold Bond Vinyl Siding and this Buck 110 was a promo item to customers who placed large orders - glad I was able to get one to keep for myself several years ago (and many years after I was no longer selling vinyl siding). One Buck 110 stays in the car, one in the truck, and the third on my desk so I can grab it when wanted. OH

One Cowboy hat?!
Good luck with that. They are almost as addictive as caffeine. :(
I think I have around seven or eight ... maybe probably more ..

As a truck driver, I was required to have a hard hat, since a lot of docks require them.
I've always hated those dorky looking regular/standard suspension hard hats.
At the I-80 Truck Stop in Davenport Iowa, I found (and bought) a couple OSHA approved cowboy hard hats. One white, and one black :D
Only twice did I have to show the dock foreman that it was a real OSHA approved suspension hard hat.

The cowboy hat in the picture is/was straw. I've since switched to a black felt one. ("Good Guys" can wear a black hat. Look at Hopalong Cassidy.)

All my cowboy hats but the black one I have with me are in Florida. A crying shame not all are "crushable". I'd have them and my two hard hats shipped/mailed to me, but they won't fit in a flat rate box.

The last few years I tend to carry a 112 but my favorite 110 is the 'Racer LT' I just like the texture and it's fairly light. The one I have used the most over the years is a 111 BCCI club knife in Elk with the gold etch. It was my desk knife for a long time. I like to scatter Bucks of all kinds around me. Desk briefcase harp case bedside table and of course the car. Truck Bucks tend to be bigger fixed blades..

MY most carried Buck 110 is a 2dot I had the bolsters chamfered and rounded by J.A.G custom knives,my second most carried is an old Alaskan guide stag handled 110 from when they first came out.the ag has had several new blades installed by Joe H.,I've really put the ag 110 to some extreme hard work over the years, everything from hunting bear and dear, couple big moose, and a lot of hours out on the Atlantic Ocean lobster fishing, cutting lots of bait .Never have I seen a knife suited for salt water work like the ag series of knives, the coating Really keeps those blades in great shape no matter what type of use.
