Got the old Schrade about 15 years ago as a gift from my boys. Just found this Case CV version and thought I'd give it a whirl and give the Schrade a rest.
Pretty nice knife and came sharp and nice workmanship.
I like the serpantine (did I spell it right?) blade. It is perfect for cutting apples and the sheeps foot blade is my go to cutter. Schrade is delrin and
Case is bone.

They are pretty similar with the Case being a hair thicker

Waynorth - WOW, You must have both of these too!!
No I am not used to it at all....I keep trying to open it from the
main blade side just by habit.

Got that CASE Amber Bone in ss and one in Bonestag cv very nice users both of them:thumbup: would like to get a large Case Stockman in Bonestag cv but they seem to be extinct

Ed, take a look at Böker's Stockman or Coppehead they are both very nice workers and not too expensive either.
