In an effort to get away from potentially harmful aluminum, I stopped using anti-persperant in favor of simple underarm deodorants. Regular deodorant sticks (without the anti-persperant function) are hit and miss for all day odor protection as you can imagine. For a while I was happy with Axe Phoenix. Good stuff. Long term odor protection, fresh scent, worth the askin price. But I ran across something the other day that I thought was long discontinued. Old Spice classic! It's still being produced!! No longer in the old round stick, it's being packaged differently, but it's the same. This is the grand-daddy mojo of all underarm pit stick deodorants! It was like coming home after being in the Army and collapsing on your childhood bed. Wow. Hats off to Procter and Gamble for leaving this formula basically untouched after all these years.

What's everyone's favorite pit stick?

Crystal Stick Body Deodorant: natural mineral salts, no perfumes or chemicals. Unscented, hypoallergenic.

You will not see or feel it once you put it on. Absolutely no stickiness. gumminess, white residue, or anything. Does a good job for me and completely comfortable. A $7.00 stick has lasted me (so far) about 7 months. Probably another couple of months left on it.

Currently using Degree Silver Ion and it seems to work very well and no aluminum. I think I'm going to give Relayer's Crystal stick a try though- looks like a good product.

Old spice red zone smells great. when i wear it i get compliments all the time. the first day i wore it all the ladies were asking what i was wearing.

Thanks for the headzup. Went to the health food store today and picked up a tube of the Thai brand crystal stick body deodorant. Unscented. I'm guessing it's the same stuff you're talking about (different brand name). Gonna try it out. Online reviews seem to be quite positive overall. Seven bucks. Who knows? Could be a winner. :)

Old Spice Red Zone gives me better, longer-lasting odor protection. I use the original scent or the new "Swagger," which I like better and the wife likes a lot better.;)

It worked great for odor protection on me, but I had a doozy of a skin reaction to it. Shame, cause it worked better than anything else.
