Favorite pivot lube?

Hey guys what is your favorite pivot lube? I used to use wd-40 recently switched to 3 in 1 oil. Still looking for a smother action. Help?

I used to use 3 in 1 (and still do with pinned knives), but not being as viscous as other lubes means you have to replace it more it seems, and it's more messy. What I've been doing with my Sebs is coat everything in Boeshield T9 (goes on liquid and dries into a solid teflon coating), then lube with Hoppe's #9 (which is more viscous than 3-in-1 but still makes for a very smooth pivot). Boeshield T9 is good enough and makes for a no-upkeep knife, but a little bit of Hoppes #9 makes it a bit smoother. Hoppe's #9 is also really nice alone, but washing the knife will remove some, so if I can't replace it right away, the Boeshield T9 works in the meantime. The T9 is also better at preventing wear than Hoppe's or any other liquid/semi-liquid lube, since it covers the washers and everything entirely, while liquid lubes are pushed out of the way (they really only fill in the cracks).

tl;dr version: Hoppe's #9 to make it smooth, and Boeshield T9 to reduce wear.

I used to use Miltec. It was slick. I started using theCRK lube. Man that stuff rocks! It is smooth, neat, and long lasting.

CRK grease is good stuff. i was amazed the first time i used it. I also use it to lube my slip joints. the cheap lube they use on chinese made slip joints gets very gritty and the CRK grease turns the knives into a whole new animal.

I was skeptical until I tried CRK grease. Even if you don't like it, though, it's worth trying because you can re-use the exceptionally excellent :) syringe applicator for other light greases.

I've been playing with the Du Pont Teflon Silicone Lubricant spray and it seems to be pretty decent, but no real time with it yet to tell for sure. I apply it and dry most of it up so it doesn't leave enough to pick up pocket lint.

I have used that... it is the best for motorcycle / mountain biking chains.. I like synthetic ATF much better on my sebenzas and I have tried White Lithium Grease / CRK lube / Teflon / Astro Glide......

I've been using LithEase white lithium grease. Gonna buy some actual CRK grease just to try out. The lithium grease has been working great thus far...very smooth action.

I was using tuff glide, and it only lasted like two days. I tried miltec-1 and it has been awesome.

Guys, I use most of the oils/lubricants/grease that are mentioned here. But I just had a "Hmmnn" hit me this late & need someone's opinion if they have tried it. I used to build custom slot cars back in the day (I'm sure some of you remember the 8 to 16 lane track centers), & used graphite for most of the bearings & pivot points in them. Has anyone tried graphite, would it work, would it stay in place, etc. etc.? Expertise is in handguns, just learning the knife world in the last couple of years. I have probably learned more in the last 3 weeks I have been on here than in the last 3 or 4 years combined. Thanks for all the information & pictures.
Be safe.

I found a place that sells Krytox for fairly cheap and have been using that, its super smooth replaced the Militec1 grease/oil mixture I was using
