+1, easy extraction even with very high tension.Spyderco wire clip is fantastic.
I know they are useful to a lot of folk and that is great, I prefer knives in my pocket for a variety of reasons including grip comfort, less chance of loss or marring a surface I might brush up against and they look a little dumb in slacks. I do have a knife or two that I have not removed clips on for those occasions when I am in jeans and have a need to use the knife often, so I am not that close minded.
I like the design of Scott Cook's clip on his Lochsa and Gus' GTC designs as well as a few others. They meld more to the handle than sit on top and would like to see more makers (both production and custom) put more into the designs that would make them feel more a part of the knife instead of something that sits on top of it. Personally having a groove in the handle where the clip rests would be my preference even though it would obviously add to the cost.
