i mean, where on your belt do you prefer to carry the sheathed knife like buck 110, 112, sak and so on
back, side, front ? why ?
i prefer to carry it in front right, for some concealment and not to get tangled in everything that i pass by like it would do on side carry

I like to carry on the side towards the back a little. I guess around 4-5 o'clock position. I always have my flashlight on the belt there and whenever a knife gets clipped on, it'll get clipped right next to it.

It doesn't get caught up on stuff as much as plain side carry but it also doesn't dig into any part of the body. I don't really bend my body towards that direction much.

Lefty here.

Back around 8-9 o'clock for me. That way it doesn't interfere with my pockets and is still comfortable when I sit down. (not poking in my back)

If it's in a vertical sheath, I want it behind my center line. If it's horizontal (which I prefer), then just in front of my hipbone.

Andy

If I could find a horizontal sheath for my 110 I'd carry it right front, right of zipper center-line but left of right front pocket opening. Vertical carry? Ahh no, don't like it.

Me too.

The cordura nylon sheaths from Buck can be carried vertical or horizontal.

I carry my Buck 110 horizontally just to the right of my belt-buckle, with the opening toward the right away from my midline.
I can access it there very quickly, even while sitting in a chair.

Im lefty and like my auto opening sheath carried horizontally slight toward the front. It isn't politically correct at all tho and does make people take a step or two back.

I'm a righty. I carry sheaths on my left side around 10'oclock to make cross-draw easier. Normally there is a holstered weapon on my strong side that I don't want to impede the draw of.
If I'm carrying a sheath on my strong side, which is pretty rare, I carry it around 4'oclock.
Other times the sheath is lashed to my left pack strap.
