Favorite Production Recurve

The reversed curve, or recurve, blade shape is probably one of the most controversial in the knife industry. That being said, I was going through my production collection earlier today and came up with quite a few examples of great production knives that feature this shape.

The contenders include:
The Benchmade 710D2
The Benchmade Skirmish
The Emerson Commander
The Kershaw Shallot

I'm sure there are a host of others. Of these choices, what is your favorite production recurve folder?

I very much like the Skirmish.

God bless.

KATN,

Wade

Absolutely the Skirmish, one of the finest production knives ever, IMHO.

I also think you need a decent amount of blade length to make the recurve work for you the way it's intended. Skirmish has that.

I also love the looks Skirmish and 710....though I don't own either of them.

My favorites that I own are the Kershaw Groove and Lahar.

The ZT0200 and the Kershaw Tyrade are my favorites.

Sweet looker AM. The Ken Onion Kershaws have the smoothest flowing designs of any recurve!

The offset is really a radical design. I love it...if only they made a "mini offset" I'd be set. That knife is MASSIVE.

Skirmish gets my vote. Funny but I never even thought of the 710 as a recurve, but guess it does have a little bit of that going on.

The Emerson Commander is one of my all time favorite knives  it was also my first "expensive" knife too :)

OffSetLover, did you have that Lahar Kreined? It looks a bit thinner than the factory grind.

I bet that would make a MEAN cutter, mine's already wicked sharp with factory edge lol.

Here's a recurve that I hated when I first saw it, but it kept growing on me in a funny way.

I eventually ended up buying one. You have to see the blade in person to see the exquisite lines.

I'm a big fan of the Shallot. Good carry size, Frame Lock, and let me get the CB ZDP-189 or the S110V please? Thanks.
