Favorite Reate?

I have only one so I am not in a position to say "favorite." It is Reate Horizon D CF/TI and I absolutely love it. The framelock is well executed: solid lockup, no blade play, and won't nudge a tiny bit from spine pressure. And boy isn't it hydraulic smooth yet deploys like a rocket. The M390 blade steel is among the best for folders and the stonewash is very well done. It is big (which I like) but relatively light. The milling on both the ti lockside and the cf scale is precise, beautiful, and functioning. The blue anodized screws and backspacer and the mokuti-like pivot collars and pocket clip (yes I know they are not mokuti) certainly add to the looking of the knife.

If it was a little bigger and a bit cheaper I would have bought one already. Like ~350-375ish, and maybe ~3.6 in blade. Design wise it is really really good looking.
 
I only currently have two, K-2 and Valhalla, and it's super tough to pick a favorite between the two. I'd give a slight edge to the K-2 because it introduced me to Reate and I like the scales a tiny bit more. But I know the JACK is gonna take the lead when I get it.

I'm actually a little bit (scared is kind of a strong word, but the best I can think of) about receiving it, because it's definitely one of the most anticipated knives for me, so it has a lot to live up for. It's my first integral and first marble CF knife, I really like harpoon-y/swedge-y persian blade shapes and big blades in general on folders, so it's very close to perfect. Not sure if it's on the way to the dealer already or postponed, at first they said August 5th for the first shipment then August 30th. We'll see.
 
I have a Horizon D Ti, Epoch, and am anxiously awaiting the Jack. The Horizon Gets a lot of pocket time, but the epoch is smoother. I expect the Jack to take the top spot.
 
I like the Liong Mah XV the best. Great design, construction and celebrates Liong’s anniversary in a great integral package. Honorable mention to the Lanny and GSD.

It’s big, scary and murdery looking but I love my Valkyrie 1. It’s the one Reate I don’t think I could ever get rid of. Second place is the Liong Mah Lanny.
