Favorite sheath material for edc pocket fixed blades?

Hi everyone, I was curious what is your favorite sheath material for small, edc, pocket fixed blades? For those that don't know, I designed 2 pocket fixed blade knife designs David Mary Customs is building right now. For this run, David is making Holstex sheaths for them and I will be putting a small Discreet Carry Concepts pocket clip on them for in pocket carry. I was thinking about having some leather sheaths made for future runs but decided to keep it simple for my first run of knives. I have a few plastic-based and leather sheaths on some of my personal knives and like both for different reasons. What is your favorite or preferred way to carry a pocket fixed blade?
 
I like leather for feel and, ah, smell. However, kydex/holstex/etc are slimmer and usually less heat trapping for me. Heat is a big thing down here...
