do you have a favorite site or two for looking at customs by different makers? even if it's a dealer site...

Knifeart.com
Robertsoncustomcutlery.com
nordicknives.com
bladegallery.com
bladeart.com

Gotta be knifeart.com

He has great photography and a very nice assortment from a lot of different people!!

Lot's of great sites offered. I agree that KnifeArt has very dramatic photography. Very cool.

Jim Weyer has been doing the AG Russell catalog and website for years. Not an online persona, but he is still considered the patriarch of ALL modern knife photography. I like his look. (BTW< he does a lot of work with Tactical Knives magazine, crazily enough.)

Of course I support the online magazines. You will see why... :)

Brightred, thanks for the nod. :) You might enjoy www.myknifedealer.com, too. Check out the Microtech page... :D

I like the The Knife Cellar.com
EDC Knives. com

They have great pictures of some great knives.

I see knife art is on this list. A couple of years ago I purchased a $700 knife from them using my credit card. At the end of the month I noticed they had billed me $700 twice on separate days. I called knife art and they said the bank made the error. Naturally I called the bank and they told me that knife art had billed them twice a few days apart and they would put in a complaint with them and get the funds back, which they did.

I can't seem to get past that and I would never purchase from them again. I don't know if I am over reacting or what but thats it for me with them.

I once purchased a knife from them and wasn't happy. They gave me a refund, no questions asked. I purchased a second knife soon thereafter by the same maker and still wasn't happy. They were a bit annoyed but still refunded my money with minimal to do. I don't think I'd be uncomfortable purchasing from them again if the right knife popped up on their site.
