Well we've asked this one in the past, but since we have many new people...

Everyone, whats your three favorite SJ patterns in order?

Mine, the whittler, muskrat and scout (especially the scout since I ordered a A.G. Russell premium scout in brown jiged bone :D !!!)

My favorite three change from time to time but the one constant is the stockman. My other two favorites "at this time" are the barlow and the texas jack.

Whittlers and doctor patterns are my most favorite, but I have not met one I did not like. ;)

Barlow. I don't have many, but in my mind they are 'the' American pocketknife.

I really like the Doctor's pattern too, but just can't decide on which one to buy.

well, still packing keith!!!

I have been tearing down wallpaper for the last two weeks now! I have one bedroom that had 4 layers!!! The walls are plaster, 60 years old so it was a nightmare!!! The wall had a built in shelf and someone wallpapered the inside of it also!!!! I tried to remove it, but the wood was old and was almost as brittle as the wallpaper so I had to remove it with a crow bar and put in new studs. I then put two layers of 1/2" dry wall over that and plastered it to match the exisitng wall that was left. I primed it with kilz and painted it, so it looks much better. Now Im on another room and it has 5 layers of wallpaper! Someone patched some holes in the wall (underneath the last layer of wallpaper) with playing cards and glue!! ...only 9 rooms to go.......

The Lord bless you my Friend!

My favorite slipjoint patterns are the Copperhead and Model #11 utility knife from Queen.

The 2 blade Trapper ranks real high, but I recently got my hands on a 4 1/4 inch closed "giant" stockman and WOW this thing can handle just about anything!

Mine is the Camillus one, but it's the same on they used to make for Buck as the 307 model.
