Favorite Skinning Blade?

Looking at another thread, this question occurred to me: What is your favorite blade with which to render animals skinless? Mine is probably the spey blade. I'd love to see some company make a folder (preferably Large Trapper or Copperhead pattern), with the spey as the main (and largest) blade. There may already be such a knife, but I haven't seen it.

What you are asking for is a traditional, 2 blade folding hunter pattern. These normally have a clip blade for the main and a upswept skinning blade for the secondary. The upswept skinning blade works as well as a spey for removing skin in my experience. Case, Camillus, Boker, and Queen still make the pattern and there are lots of discontinued makes available on ebay. Schrade, Western, and Ka-bar are a few names to look for. I used my Schrade 25OT last year to dress and skin a buck and it worked like a charm, easy to see why it was a hunters favorite pattern for the first 3/4 of the previous century.

In the past 2 weeks, I skun 9 deer using a Queen 2 bladed trapper (D2) Worked well. Never touched a stoneto it, stropped it once or twice, just from force of habit.
