I've been collecting these for some time now and near as I know I have about thirty different Spyders and also some duplicates. Some I really got carried away with.I have three Rookies one Steel and two G-10 (I like this one),Two Delicas and a couple of The small G-10 Centafantes.I still think my two most favorites Are the Worker and a Large Bob T C-15. Of course all of this is just academic because everytime a new model comes out I'm in love again.

I think a starmate will be my favorite. If I can find one! But right now it is the Military, by far.

Military for me too ... ONLY because of the CPM-440V blade on it.

The full size Wegner I just got runs a very close 2nd, though!

This Wegner is built much stronger than the Military.

Spyderco, any chances on making even more of your knives and even the Wegner with CPM-440V steel as an alternate for choice?

For me the Delica and Calypso Jr. have been running neck and neck, but the original Delica was my first Spydie and now I carry a plainedge Delica '98, and I find myself carrying it more than the Calypso Jr. Now I'm also considering getting a fully-serrated Delica '98 for when I need serrations (I currently have NO fully-serrated folders).

Mark - the craftsmen that build the Wegner cannot work with CPM steels in production, only in customs. CPM materials present interesting challenges when trying to make many.

Jim - I think that serrated Delica might surprize you.

Ibwheat - thanx for the support.

James your mention of the Calypso being one of your favorites reminded me of mine. When I purchased mine it was called CX-03.I think I'll get it and carry it again. This is the problem you have when you aquire a number of nice Spydies. You can't make up your mine which you like the best until someone brings it up.This little knife has one of the sharpest edges I've ever owned.Mine has a plain edge. I think it is a combination of the flat grind and the overall great geometery of the design.

Thanks for reminding me.
