Anyone wanna share their favorite survival links ?

I love reading and learning about new ways to make traps, fire, cooking/cleaning food, and just general improvising for the outdoors. Gives you new ideas of things to do when you head off on the trail or just playing in the back yard

http://www.wonderhowto.com - alot of how to videos for survival among other things

http://www.survival.org.au- traps, dead falls and articles...good detailed write ups with pics

http://www.modernsurvival.net/

http://www.woodsmonkey.com - good gear write ups including RC5, Izula, RAT Fire Kit, and other cool ideas

http://www.scottsknots.net - learn to tie some stuff up

Just to name a few. When i get back to my personal computer i have loads more to post up.

If you run across any crazy information, dont go screaming at me. I'm more into the how-to and diagrams for building then anything else. So you decide whats good and whats bad

We would never scream at you! :D

I didn't know Modern Survival was still going. Jim Benson still running it?

No idea, been checking it out and looking at subscribing. Would like to see a issue in hand if i can find i can find it anywhere

www.survivalblog.com has some interesting articles. It mainly focuses on how to prepare for a total collapse of the "grid" and how to thrive when everyone else flips out.

I tend to read more books than reading on the internet. That being said so far I enjoy this site & the RAT home page.

I read the Les Stroud "Survive" and was impressed but with online articles you can get tons of reviews, updates, videos, and more detailed and color photos at the click of a finger.

I've been a member of the forum at Bushcraftliving.com for a couple years. They're a great group of guys (mostly from the UK), and I've picked some good ideas along the way.

+1 on the youtube vids. There are some good ones out there, others are downright laughable.

Dave Canterbury aka Wilderness Outfitters
A to Z of bushcraft is also a good video series
