I added few more options , thanks for help .
What is your favorite finish on titanium frame locks ?

I had not put much thought into it until I picked up an XM-18 with a bead blasted finish. Oh man, what an awesome feeling handle! It has almost a softness that I never experienced with stonewashed. I also like how they start to get somewhat polished around the edges after carrying for a while. Similar to, but not as extreme or uniform as this CRK finish:

(No idea who's picture this is, but I love the contrast and I imagine it feels amazing in hand.)

I voted sand/bead blasted because when done right a little texture/grip is always a good thing.

I had a custom Regulus made by Dalibor with an orange peel finish. The finish was great. No scratches or marks anywhere.

I'm not surprised Stonewashed and Sand/Bead blasted are at the top. I favor both in that order.

Incidentally, I would not have included the last three options.

Since we're talking finishes; here is a pic of this weekends's prototype...

My full thickness Ti scales for XM-18 in my "Darkwash" coloring (XM-24's coming soon too). This is part of an ongoing experiment I've been doing that combines acid etching, anodizing (2 colors), and stonewashing. The colors change some depending on how the light hits it and has subtle tones of bronze and blue.

Stonewash and blackwash are my favorite.
As I carry and use my knives I like them to have a finish that can accomodate some marks without "destroying" the way they look.

The Spyderco Nirvana has a gray matte finish on its Ti handle. Looks either sand/bead blasted or possibly stonewashed (or all of the above). Either way , I love how it looks and feels.

The stonewash on the Slysz Bowie shows virtually no wear. I also love orange peel, which you may want to consider adding.

PVD - Chromium Nitride so hard it is basically scratch proof and it looks nice as well. Other than that a nice Orange Peel finish is my preferred with a light Electro Anodizing

I like the high polish stonewash versus the more muted stonewash. Just looks more finished and a nicer overall appearance.
