From April to June I spend all my spare time cutting wood, good tools are essential. Here are two of my favorites, the Single Six is a 1976 and has been on my side for a lot of years. It has seen much use, hard times and good times and has been a faithful companion. It is one of those things that holds a special place in my heart. The other is my JK Otter creek, I have only had it for a few months but it has quickly taken up one of those "can't imagine not having it" spots. A strong tool that does whatever I ask of it.

Nice pair!

My favorite tool is an old pipe flaring tool that my grandfather gave to me when we were going through his stuff when he had to move in with my father.

He handed it to me and said "Make sure your uncles don't get this."

I have had it ever since, and yes, one of my great uncles asked me if I knew what happened to it lol

Great story mqqn!
Gotta love the Rugers. Some nice leather there Mountain Wildman! That hawk looks like a serious tool.

I've got an old .22 magnum single six with some really gnarly stag grips somewhere at home. I hope I can find it.

Very nice fellas! I love "tools" but I don't have a Single Six.

Most of you know that I just got my JK knives but they have already become my favorites and that's coming from some one who has quite a few knives. The pocket Kephart makes a dandy pocket or EDC knife. As far as the Kephart HD, it fits my hand like it was made for it and feels better in hand than any knife I own.

Here are a couple of pictures of my favorite tools.
This is my Ruger SBH 4 5/8" with birdseye maple grips and of coarse, the Kephart HD. I carry these sometimes in the woods or while riding/walking the back roads. I also carry my Redhawk sometimes but I really like the Ruger SA revolvers.

This is my Ruger Birdshead 45 ACP and Pocket kephart which is more of an EDC rig. I actually carry this 45 quite a bit for concealment and since I got it, the PK has been my constant companion.
