Favorite web sources for mil-surp packs/gear?

I'm getting myself an early Christmas present. I want to try one of the mil-surp packs for use as a multi-day pack. I've been looking at the ALICE styles as well as the MOLLE varieties.

So, first question is, which pack would you recommend for this type of use? I really do not need a lot of pockets. And hydration compatable is okay but I like bottles/canteens just as well. The ALICE sysytems look reasonably priced on ebay, but I've come to hate ebay unless its a last ditch effort.

Which brings me to my second question: can anyone recommend a reputable dealer for such packs?

I prefer alice myself over the new stuff. I like alice clips for survival uses, fish hooks, etc. This is what I call a "sore dick deal", ya just can't beat it! :thumbup:

Thanks for the replies. I've narrowed down to the large ALICE pack w/frame. Also managed to locate a dealer or two.
