I'm looking for a few ideas for my next knife, and I really dig good ol' whancliffe blade!

Love my case mini trapper but the wife likes it more I guess and stole it :p

I've got one that looks exactly like that one and then there is this one:

and these. The one on the bottom is my fav knife of all, so far.

I have more, but they should go in the other thread.

This is BY FAR my favorite wharncliffe blade knife. It is a GEC 72 lock back with stag handles. It is absolutely amazing. It took me a long time to find this one. I think my next favorite is my GEC 53 furtaker muskrat in 440c (sorry no pictures of that one, I am working on it though). I cant forget the 2012 Bladeforum knife either. I love the thin grind on the blades. I would have to say that the wharncliffe blade on my 2012 forum knife is the sharpest blade that I own, hands down.

I like my GEC Northfield #62 Courthouse Whittler

Stich, I like your GEC Northfield #62 Courthouse Whittler as well. Probably my favorite variation of this pattern by far.. I'll have to settle for my Coconut Palm version if it doesn't sell in the classifieds (pictured in the photo below). The Wharncliffe on this pattern is scary sharp!

That is a beautful 72 Wharncliffe, Kalsu! I would love to see more photos of it if you have any.

My Great Eastern Cutlery's Northfield Coconut Palm #62 Easy Pocket Courthouse Whittler (probably the longest name I've heard yet for a knife pattern!)...

Such a terrific knife, I kick myself every single day for not picking one up when I had the chance. Of all the GEC patterns out there, the wharncliffe #72 lockback is the one I wish they would make again.

Other than the new forum knife, I'd have to say my all time favorite wharncliffe is the AG Russell curved regular jack:

A great knife for the price.

Case SBJ for me. I do have a few others including GECs and the 2012 forum knife but the Case SBJ is just the perfect knife.

Otter Webermesser (Solingen, Germany made) for me (bottom knife) - though I fear they are not available in the US.

Of all the Wharncliffes that have passed through my hands over the years, this old Hiroaki Ohta model 109 is still my favorite.

I have to agree that those Ohta wharncliff's are great; here's mine:

Still, I find I actually prefer this old Fight'n Rooster Congress Jack.
