Favorite wide-handled, wide blade folders?

Hi guys,

I often like to use long, narrow blades with long, thin handles, but I generally find wide handles are better for my hands, and accompanying wide blades can look very nice too.

What are some of your favorite folders with wide handles and blades? Of course wide can be subjective but I'm interested in anything you consider such. Any pics of your favorites would be great (though may lead me to buying stuff I shouldn't...)

Cold Steel Recon 1, ZT 0350, Strider SnG, LionSteel SR-1A, Spyderco Nilakka and Gayle Bradley for folders, fixed blades--Benchmade 162, SOG Seal Pup.

Nothing says wide like the Zero Tolerance 0300 series!

Edited To Add: LionSteel SR-1, MicroTech DOC, Spyderco Manix 2 XL, Fox Tracker Meskwaki, Fox Deimos Citadel, Fantoni HB01, Spyderco LionSpy, Brous Division, Benchmade 810 Contego, Benchmade 275 Adamas, Benchmade 755 MPR, Boker Pipsqueak, Boker Minos.

Demko AD-10. One of the best knives I've ever owned and wide as all get up

Manix 2 XL! Tis a nice blade. And how about a Benchmade MPR (I'm carrying both right now :D)

Boker Dark Hallow is pretty wide. Boker S2's blade is pretty wide, but the handle isn't. Both seem to be based on Sniper Bladeworks' models. Extrema Ratio RAO is also quite wide.

4.265" N690Co Cobalt blade, .200" thick. 6" long handle. Titanium liner lock. Overall length 10.625"

There are some posts on Bladeforums about this knife as well:

Just around when I had started collecting knives, I bought a clone of this. (I didn't know it at the time, though.)

Clone-specs: (Don't know the specs of the original.)
Overall Length: 27,50 cm / 10.8 inches.
Blade Length: 11,50 cm / 4.5 inches.

(Closed Specs.)
Length: 16,00 cm / 6.2 inches.
Width: 5,60 cm / 2.2 inches.
Thickness: 1,80 cm / 0.7 inches.
Weight: 426,00 gram / 0.9 pounds.

-----------

I think that this was just a limited run by Knights Armaments, and I don't think they make them anymore.

Ka Bar Dozier Phat Bob is a beast. It has a wide blade, nice, high hollow grind, micarta scales, and rock solid liner lock. I've never handled the high end folders like ZT or Benchmade (Poor grad student, here) but this knife is rock solid. Opens smoothly and locks with a satisfying *thwack*.

That bottom knife looks like a cross between a brick and a tank! :)

The Grayman DUA has a wide blade and a "tall" grip, which is also just the right length for my large hands.

I do like the wide blade and of my small collection of folders, a total of 10 knives, I have 3 knives I think fit that category; a SR-1, Fox/Citadel Deimos, and my newest, a Boker Arctos XL.

pic is of the SR-1B I gave my son

Fox Deimos

Boker Arctos XL...just got this one and it has quickly become a favorite

This is my next knife and will be getting it next week

The farthest I will go is with knives like the ZT 0561, Spyderco Manix, Spyderco Manix 2 XL, Spyderco Tenacious.

Here are some of my favourites.

Spyderco Manix 2 (S90V and CF sprint), Manix, ZT 0300, 0350, 0200, 0550 and 0561.

Spyderco Lum large and regular in ZDP-189. Not really wide handles, but lovely broad blades.

I always wanted a BM Onslaught ever since it was first introduced... but without having the option to switch the pocket clip over I couldn't justify it.
