Favorite Wood Inlay

Which is your favorite? Does Chris use any Ironwood?

Mine is the Box Elderwood inlay, it's a lighter wood colour, but boy would I love to get a Desert Ironwood inlay!

I like the box elder to, gary , should know he causes me to drool all over my keyboard everytime he posts a pic of it. It would be pretty neat to see a desert ironwood if it ever came out. Oh well someday i will get my inlay.

Last year I liked the maple burl best and when I ordered mine for this year I asked for the maple burl.

Then this year I saw the redwood burl and liked it better.

Last month Bridget called me and said mine was going to be the redwood burl due this month.

I can't wait.

Rick, you had me going for a second, I see you flipped the photo to make it appear to be a left handed knife, cool looking wood as well...hate to let Hermie down so here is my wood inlay, she be a lovely example!

Some like the name I gave the pic as well, but couldn't help myself!

I'm waiting for the real first Left Handed wood inlay Sebenza.

That is the best looking light wood I have seen; love the grain pattern.

Here are a few wood inlays... Sorry about the scan quality,I am workin on my "scanner skills". The knives are a little darker and richer in life.

Harrydog, the redwood burl is my favorite too.

I should be getting my small Left Handed redwood burl next month.

The one on CRK website is maple burl.
