I changed the title from “4 of my favorites” to “Favorite working knives” as that better embodies what I was going for.

Here are 4 or my favorite working knives. The 110 and 192 I have carried a bunch. The PH1 and 684 I’m just getting acquainted with, they need sheaths to suit me before I carry them.

I don’t have a huge collection, a couple dozen all told but these are the ones I find myself fiddling with, not counting one of several pocket knives I carry and whittle with of course.

Just thought I’d share.

You don't like the pouch sheath of the Pro Hunter? (I don't have the knife, but I got a few of the sheathes from Tenn-e>)

I like the style okay but it rides too low to suit me. I bought a similar style for the 192, but modified it with a lower belt loop. I like it to ride high and tight.

Here it is while I’m wearing it (192 in modified cheapo internet sheath). I don’t have an off belt pic. I’ll get one when I rotate. I’d like it to ride about 1/2” higher I think, and with a larger shirt guard. I just took the belt loop that was there and cut it and folded it back and stitched it lower. I had to split the sheath of course, and restitched it back.

I switched back to the 110 last night so I got a few pics of my 192 sheath.

I didn’t finish the edges where I cut the tab as I didn’t have any gum trag and they wouldn’t take a burnish good. The top took a good enough burnish. I didn’t make this sheath, just modified it. I carried the 192 a while in the factory sheath and it flopped around too much. So this is the start of figuring out what I want for a comfortable EDC sheath. And it is pretty comfortable. I’ll likely use it as a pattern to make my own, when I get time.

Nice ones !!! I'll play favorite working knives
This Camillus trio is "sacred" in my collection.
Each one actually served me well during a 20yr Naval career
Below the Equator, above the Arctic Circle, across the 7 seas and in harms way
Maintaining and repairing equipment kept in ready condition to fight the ship
... they'd do it again
