He has been travelling & living in the outback for extended periods of time since the 1960's.
I remember seeing the program that showed him making the shaft of that spear from a tree root (he was a lot younger in those days).
BTW, did you notice the black material holding the fish prongs to the head of the spear & the peg at the end of the woomera? That's spinifex resin :thumbup:
