I thought I would start a thread about your favorite knives. Here are mine.
Large folder -

Traditional- Buck 110
Tactical - Benchmade Adamas

EDC folder -

Any Barlow and Victorinox Black Pioneer

Fixed blade - hands down, my Element EDC Kane Model.

Let’s hear yours, just having fun on a cold and miserable day.

For a large knife I’m a big fan of the Buck 124 Frontiersman. I still have two, one very early model, and one made a few years ago.

I have always liked the looks of the 124 - and a couple of years ago was able to buy one at a pretty reasonable price but have not had the chance to take it out in the woods and see how it does.

Would like to see if you, John, can get a 124 in 5160 steel.

My favorite fixed blades, ML Hudson Bay knife, Joe Calton hunter, JK small blade, and WAS Bush Adder.

Favorite traditional folders: Buck 112, Alox SAPioneer, and USA made Uncle Henry 3 blade stockman.

Favorite tactical folder now: Manly Wasp and Comrade. On wish list is the new Buck 112 Slim Pro.

Favorite tactical fixed blade: Fiddleback Production Hiking Buddy.

My favorite large traditional folder is the Buck 110. I have a half dozen or so to choose from and carry one pretty often.
My favorite modern large folder is a Spyderco Endura ffg. Honorable mention goes to the Para 2 and the full sized Griptillian.
For awhile now my favorite edc folder has been a 3 1/4” Stockman or Jack. I have several a choose from and today I’m carrying a Schrade Walden birdseye Stockman.
Favorite woods walking folder is the Victorinox Fieldmaster. Honorable mention to the Huntsman.
I don’t really have any fixed blades that excited about but I’m hoping the Michigan Trail Knife I have ordered will change that. ;)

Good to see another 110 fan! I have about 8 or so, 3 of them from the custom shop. A year ago I had about 16 of them.

You definitely downsized. I’ve let a few 110’s go about 5 years ago and have regretted it ever since. I have one custom shop 110 with my name on it and a couple of the Copper and Clad exclusives. A newer fingergrooved model that my wife gifted me is my most carried one.
The 110 is the knife I grew up with. I’ll always have a place for one, or a dozen. Lol

One of my custom is engraved JAK, one is JK Knives, I don’t remember the other, I’ll have to check. I’ve also got a C&C with the drop point blade. I’ve also got a very, very early model I got in a pawnshop where my daughter went to college, for $10. I’ll have to dig them out for pictures.

Here are most of them

Nice group. I have one of the 5160 bladed ones. It’s serialized, I think from the original run. I’ve never carried it but it’s just a matter of time. I also have one of the aluminum framed 110’s. It’s pretty nice. And I have a older one, a two or three dot. I forget which. I’ll take a picture later on.

Here’s my little group of 110’s. Pretty sure there’s another one around here somewhere but maybe I dreamed that.

You’ve really got something there. I would love to have one in BG-42. You don’t see them on the secondary market much.
I had one of the Rosewood and 154CM Cabelas specials and sold it. Been kicking myself ever since. That was a sweet 110.

I ordered my custom shop 110 with nickel bolsters and a drop point blade. It’s a beautiful knife I just haven’t warmed up to it like I thought i would. Guess I’m a brass and clip point kinda guy.

I’ve had it for a long time, wife bought it years ago for Christmas.
