Hi all... again.

I am wondering if I prefer the Clip point blade of the 110 - or the drop point blade of the Tempest, Sirus, Adrenaline etc etc. Or perhaps the spear point blade? But what is your favourite?

Also... plain edged or serrated?

I got my Dads 882 back today and man that is amazing - looks like it will cut through *anything* LOL :D

Hi Maverick! Glad Joe got you the 882 back! Nice knife.
I prefer the drop point... BUT the clip point is a close second! Both UNserrated.

I admit... there seems to be a shift away from serrated blades. I also hang around the SOG forums and there they are more inclined to have a plain edge

Dont get me wrong serrated are O.K. IF you have a long enough blade! I like serrations on a 119 for instance. But on a pocket knife they are too short of a blade then - for me.

I'll have to go along with that. But if forced to decide, the drop point on a 277 is my latest obsession.

Well I guess it's time to admit that my latest obsession has been the drop point Duke 500. Lately it has topped the 110 clip point:rolleyes: . Hay you guys never told me what I was in for when I started this Buck colleting thing:eek: . LOL; it sure is fun:D .

Hmmmm...
Tanto
Clip
Drop
The only serrated I like is the fully serrated CS El Vaquero Grande I use for, ahhh, cutting rope (?).
I do have a 110 and a 198, that I just looked at, with partial serrations. It appears that someone has been using that little guy for sharpening a make-up pencil.
No, I don't cross dress...

ya know until about a year ago i never paid any attention i just knew i didnt really care for the 110 , i like the 500 series (all of them) but after getting the drop point 110 it all makes sense to me now it has to be a drop point
it should be interesting because i have never really liked the 112 (too fat of a handle for the blade length) either so i caant wait to get the drop point to see if it changes my feelings like the 110
