Favourite blade?

On my folders, I like spearpoint or a good recurve (think Kershaw storm). Despite the fact that I don't actually OWN any recurve folders. CRKT calls the M21 a "deep bellied spearpoint," but I call it recurve light. That might be my first.

On my balis, I'm a recent convert to Benchmade's version of the recurve (which really isn't much like the recurve in most blades...)

I'm not sure if I'm in love with the style or with the craftsmanship, to be fair

Finally, fixed blades are khukuris:

At the moment, I like spear-point very much too, but I'm in wait for a Wharcliff blade, and I'm sooo curious about it's performance:)

It used to be spearpoint, but I picked up an mtech pos with a hawkbill blade yesterday and am enjoying it quite a bit (the blade that is).

I really like wharncliff and stilletto/dagger style blades, although they arent especially practical for heavy use.

I really like blades with a subtle recurve. I think that when they are not over exagerated, they look good on knives of all size. They are also attractive with either clip, or drop point.

I have a preference for double edged blades. Usually spear point. I also really like the blade shape of Benchmade's Skirmish. I would have to say that Mercworx's blade shapes appeal to me too.

The Spear and/or pen shaped blades are probably the ones I've used and enjoyed more over time but I have always had a great love for Wharncliff blades also.

What could be better than a double axis locking two blade folder with a spear point on one end and a Wharny on the other?

There you go Benchmade. Make it so and I'll be first on board.

Awright. Gotta say I just love the all round utility of the Grip blade shape, not the sheepsfoot, although I think I'll have to try one down the road....

Drop point blades, or utility shaped blades like AG Russell One-Hand Knives.

i am a fan of the drop point personally and most of the customs i make are in this style a recurve on a drop point can look good but i have found that they are not particularly useful. if i could get the image insert to work i would show you a couple i am working on

I'd definitely go with drop point however, since getting the 555 mini grip with the modified sheepsfoot, I've become somewhat attached to that. Having said all that I think the blade shape I'd favour would depend on the knife and what I'm doing with it.

If we're talking purely looks and nothing to do with function, then drop point, such as the SnG, would be my favourite. about the only blade shape, based once again on looks only, that I probably wouldn't own, is a tanto.
