Favourite Commander finish?

Hi all,

Man, that Framelock Commander looks good! Anyhow, since there are a lot of Commander owners out there, what is the preferred finish? BT or "satin" - with or without serrations?

I also saw the PSARK on the emerson site and I think I'm becoming infected too...

Hopefully I will join the club soon!
Cheers from New Zealand,

I just love that ´98 finish on the Commanders...

I don´t know what they used but in a weird way the liners and handle slabs got all swollen up. I like it more than the newer "light", "non-fat" version. :p

-Waiting for the SuperCommander that has boroncarbide finish on the blade and thick liners/slabs. Oooh, make it so, pleeeeaase. :D

List of my preferences, top being most prefered:
  • * Real, uncoated Satin
    * "Satin" (Hard Chromed) or "CN" (Chromium Nitrate)
    * Black-T
    * Green-T
That having been said, I like them all, but the real Satin can't be beat.

I prefer plain edged to Serrated

First choice: Real satin finish ("satinized" my 2000 Commander)

second choice: BT no serrations

Daniel: I emplore you, get a PSARK. You will not be disappointed!

I loved the finish on the Chromium Nitride commander I had. I wish they still made it. I wouldn't have been so foolish to trade it away. After that, it's a toss up between the Chrome (satin) and the BT. I prefer Black for my EDC Mini-Com, because of the outside work environment.
