favourite knife acquisition of the year?

I'd have to say my NM SFNO was a great purchase. Awesome user, great feel in the hand, great fit and finish. Thumbs up on your ASH-1!

That would have to be the Spyderco Para2 with Gray G10 and 20CP steel. Running a close 2nd would be the Caly 3.5 also in gray G10 and the crazy cool Super Blue steel.

for folders my grayman dua pushed almost all my other folders out of rotation, all thats left are my emersons, my case slippie and my coldsteel ti-lite when i drink or longboard and im worried about losing my knife.

as far as fixed blades go my new favorites are the benchmade socp daggers the grayman mini dinka and the craford kasper necker.

i just cant deicde between the dua and the socp perfect utility versus perfect sd blade, take your pick.

Next to zero new release knives caught my fancy in 2011... The only one which I did buy, and enjoy, is my Strider Mini SJ75.

That said, my FAV knife I bought this year is my Strider SmF. The BEST knife I bought this year may also be the best knife I've acquired in the almost 11 years I've been a member here... The Strider MFS. ...simple, great blade grind and some of the best steel I've ever used.

Just got into traditionals in the last couple of months so I'm very happy with this one, not even a close second I can think of.

BM 755 MPR hands down!! Even a small sebbie 21 I purchased after that doesn't give me the kind of gratification the 755 does!!
