Could some of you please give me some advice for on line or internet faxing. I have wireless internet and phones in my home and need to set up some sort of fax for my office here at home. What have some of you done or used that works well. Thanks

I have a client who uses eFax and hasn't complained about it. Although I have heard others say that it can be quirky, but it all depends on your needs really. Will you be sending faxes or just receiving? One thing to keep in mind is that any software package will deliver the fax as some sort of file (PDF, or a proprietary format).

I have used efax for years. Perfect for small business. If you need to scan a lot it isn;t so great, but I mainly fax stuff like Word docs or pdfs. Easy enough to "sign" them so the delivered product looks as good as anyhting that got scanned.

Receiving is super easy and you can save them as a pdf file.

The "free" version isn;t there. Plan on paying. But the cheapest one is pretty good.

Ill be sending and receiving small word docs just a few pages long not much. Thnaks guys for the input.

If you have a modem hook your phone line to it. Windows XP should have the software built in. Of course you would have to give out your home number as your fax number.
