Hello-

I'd love to get your feedback on a knife I designed and had made for me by a good friend.

The design started probably 8 months ago when I first laid my eyes on the Silver Fox Bushcraft Knife. I wouldn't say that I improved on the design at all b/c that knife in itself is a masterpiece (IMO). The FBK design (for me) encompasses everything that I like in a large survival blade/tool. The only issue that I have with the knife at this point is the weight which is something I'm willing to deal with for what the knife gives.

Specs-
5160 Steel (Hand Forged)
57-58 Rockwell Hardness
16.75" Length
7" Cutting Surface
7" Micarta Handle
.25" Blade Thickness
36 ounces (I know, I know...)

Looks like it packs a lot of chopping power into a relatively compact design. To me there is a lot of fun and satisfaction in designing a custom knife to suit your personal needs too.

i like it, more contour to all the palm areas and swell at the bottom of the handle, but overall i like the design.
