Finally got a few shots of the FBM after deer hunting.
I'm pretty sure Ban was asking about the edge after chopping bone and I also got a shot of the edge toward the tip after a oops swing full force into a garage floor.
Full length of the blade. Most of the bone chopping was done in the middle of the blade.
And one toward the tip. It hit right as the blade curves up toward the tip.
And in a effort to see how my FBM chops and batons in the cold I have a little plan. I saved a couple hind leg bones that I plan to chop the heck out of as soon as it gets below zero again, then I have a nice 3.5' elder branch of a good sized diameter I'm going to split too.
I may resharpen the blade before doing the below zero bit, but it's still in good shape so I'm not sure yet.
I'll post it up when I'm done.
Happy Holidays
