FBM Cuts Her Teeth

About 10 minutes work.......I wont be chopping firewood for the home this way, but........in a pinch or camping.......she does the job just fine!:D This INFI seems to just get sharper the more it gets used. Anybody else notice this phenomenon?

I'm amazed at how long it holds an edge... Not sure I've seen it get sharper, but it's definitely phenomenal :thumbup:

So, do you lay the BM on your round then baton through it? Wondering about good technique.

Yea....just lay it on the log and then baton...this is a hard wood..(apricot) so the FBM didn't have to go far before it split.....but it is fiberous so I had to cut all the way through.
 
My First Straight Mistress was the same way for about the first 20 minutes of Use, I Called Jerry, He said some thing about a possible wire edge getting polished off by the Wood, then Further polished to wicked Shaving Sharp.

Damn your hands must be sore! Sure hope you wore some gloves bro. Nice job....you sure did pick the right blade for the job! :thumbup:
