a few days ago, i bought my first busse...a green/black G10 fatty game warden...

i was so impressed by that particular knife, i went ahead and a few hours ago i took the plunge and placed my order for a FBMLE and the sheath to go with it....


i don't know what number i will be getting but cool number would be extra nice...something like #999, #777, #888, etc...even if it isn't, i won't be terribly unsatisified...

when i placed my order for the game warden it took about 3 business days for it to get to me, so i figure i won't get my FBMLE until next monday or tuesday....

in short, i started this thread because i wanted to see pics of other posters' FBMLE's to tide me over until i got mine....i am no stranger to forums and i would use the search function, but i don't have access to a search function in this particular forum....


so, could you guys post yours??? thanks....along with your FBMLE pics could you add the following info:

1. user or safe queen???
2. serial number
3. skunk junk that came with it
4. possible next purchase

and by the way, #42, is that the stock finish, or has it been polished a bit??? it seems shinier than the others...


and by the way, is there any rough estimate on what number range my fbmle will be in???

by the way, my all time favorite busse has to be the SHBM, but i was a poor college student at the time and didn't have that kind of money...how much do they go for these days for a vintage SHBM???
 
by the way, i love that FBM proto...has a classic BM blade with a fusion handle...nice...


i like the classic BM blade shape because of the flat spine...seems like the flat spines are more practical...if i ever needed to split a log and needed to baton the blade a flat spine would be much easier to do than the fusion blade with all the ridges in it...


if i didn't mention it before, my FBMLE will definitely be a user...i don't think i need to worry about breaking it after watching the destruction test on knifetests.com...that was one brutal test and it brought tears to my eyes when i saw how much abuse that blade was taking...

#265 a user all the way. I have a Okudun sheath that rocks and it is in the BOB rotation...oh ya....I'm a geek...A 315lb geek...with guns...and knives....:cool:



Everyone should have one of these.

hey heavy, i'm the same...i'm a 150lb geek with guns an knives....

when i get my mistress, i'll post her with some of my sixshooters...

i have a love for single action rugers....bisleys in particular...

by the way, nice sixshooter....i personally stick to rugers, not that i don't like colts, but those ponys are too rich for my blood...maybe in a few years....
