I sanded the handles smooth a while back and just now had a chance to take some photos. The handles are still contoured, but no more ridges - feels silky soft in hand! :D

Shown here with a Chuddy Bear sheath. Enjoy!

It sure looks good!

Have you done any heavy or hard work with it --- enough to determine if it's still secure in hand?

That looks great! Did you do it by hand??? Details please! Looks like a mod I'd favor!

I like it.

Still would like the ridges AND thinner slabs on mine.

Thanks for the comments!

I have not chopped anything up since sanding it...I wanted to take photos while it's still pretty. :o

I used 80 grit and finished with 120 grit sandpaper (hand sanded everything). Basically I just followed the contours and removed the ridges. It's still grippy and fills up my hand so I imagine that hard work will not be an issue. I'll try and take photos after I split some logs or something.

Great Job! I like the smooth much better:thumbup:

Some one did a FBM with G-10 last week that looked great as well.

Looks great. I like em smooth, also. A little earl should bring out the grain. TC
