Here's how my FBM LE tiger hide scales look now. I think they're pretty......um............sharp !

Dremel, sandpaper (up to 600 at least) and buffing wheel ! Oh, and Ren Wax polished a bit to finish it off.

.

Not slick, really, but smooth, of course. I like it !

It turned a "crap, TIGERHIDE?" reaction to a Homer Simpson-like "cool ! tigerhide <drool>" reaction.

.

That looks great! I've been sitting here today trying to figure out how to make the tigerhide on my BATACLE look nicer. I think you may have given me an idea! Thanks!

Wow, now there's a transformation. Looking very good, David!

You know, of course, that we'll be needing pics !!

That looks super sweet! I'm thinking of doing the same with one of my SFNO's with the tigerstripe mags.

I would do it to my SJ LE (.220 thick) but it fits and feel soooooooo good now, I don't want to change a thing !

WOW! That's the first Tiger Hide I've seen with a hand finish.
What a classy look!

Nice work David!

Oh yes, I'll be posting pics when I get that taken care of. I hope I do half as nice a job as you did. I'm not nearly drunk enough to bring myself to do that yet. I have a love-hate relationship with my BATACLE slabs, it'll take a few belts to get me to the tipping point. I'm working my way up to it.

I'm gonna spend tonight doing a crazy embossing job on my FFBM sheath. I did my BATACLE sheath and it turned out badass!

(Edit) Ack. I can't figure this image posting thing out. I can't get a photobucket account because it says that my "cell phone has a blocked area code" What's that supposed to mean?

Looks awesome. The higher grit and polishing really bring out the colors.

Those slabs look sweet, no doubt. But, Jur, I can hear your mag SFNO's crying for my protection from here!

I'll save you buddies!!! :D

Lookin' good, David.
