I would really, really, really, greatly and truly prefer my FBM without the corrugated things. I hope this is possible. I have a feeling it will be since I'm guessing the LE will be satin finish, which might be impossible or cost prohibitive to do with the corrugations.
Thanks.

I heard there will be a LE edition without the corrugations, but didn't get an answer on a double cut or satin finish regular one.

Last I heard, customs are still $100/inch :) Yikes! But seriously, a Custom Shop re-worked FBM may cost you a bit more than a regular one, and maybe even less than or equivalent to a LE. Give Amy-O a call and she'll get the real answer to your question.

i think jerry might have to do that himself since its sort of a custom action (grinding the blade geometry). but ya, im pertty sure you could have it convex ground to remove them... it may bring the blade down closer to 3/16" thick though (7/32? dont know how deep the fullers are)

+1

I plan to order the standard thickness FBM but I want it in a satin or dcbb finish.
