FBM or HH

Lookin to get my first INFI. Trying to get some advice on my decision. I think I've narrowed it down to either an FBM or a HH or maybe hold out till a HOGFSH comes along.

Don't think I can take the wait though.
 
The FBM should be available at the Company Store ( www.bussecompanystore.com ) pretty soon.

Other than that, you will have to search the secondary market for the SHs. I haven't used the FSH, but I have used a FBM, and it's going to be hard to beat.
 
An HH is probably within reach in a reasonable time frame. A HOGFSH is probably NOT within reach as a lot of folks are looking for one, and many have some good booty to offer up in trade. A FBM can be had, either quickly on the X or that auction site, or in 2 weeks (Martian time) from the store. If I were you, I might try to snag a HH and then modify the handles down the road to your own liking. It won't be quite as thick as a HOGFSH, but it'll be close.

What do you want to use the knife for? And just to own one is a good enough answer.
 
Ownin it and admiring. I do a lot of camping. I'm heading to the Bahamas soon and need somethin to pop the top of some coconuts.

Anyone know the rules for traveling with one of these??

Yeah, for the size I think a thigh hoster would be best.
 
I think the FBM will out-chop any steel heart.
The FSH is 2 inches shorter though, so it may be a little easier to carry around. My main big blade user is a HOGFSH, but that might change when I get some sheaths for my FBM and FBMLE.
If I were you I would try and snag an FBM or FBMLE (or both ;) ) when they hit the company store, which should be soon. You can't go wrong either way though, both FSH's and FBM's are awesome big blades :thumbup:
 
I made my decision.

Both.

And I'll eventually get a HOGFSH, too. You just have to be sneaky and patient. I can do that.
 
HHFSH all the way, everyday, and twice on Sunday.

Serves me well, and is my GO-TO knife on every Search and Rescue Mission we go out on.
 
or you could wait a bit a get a company store exclusive special limited "FBB"
it's about half way between a nice girl and a mistress :thumbup:
