FBM vs tree

Have an old apple orchard in my back yard, most of the trees are dying off so I have plenty of test subjects for my Busse knives.

i'd say it took me about 10 to 15 minutes to chop through the big limb. yeah i love the big choppers i keep tellin myself i don't need em, but i just can't bring myslef to buy smaller knives
 
well thats tough to decide, at least for me anyway. i really like the way both knives feel in my hand. i will say that i used the FBM for the majority of the time, and i developed a nice sized blister on the inside of my thumb. its about the size of an eraser.
 
SWEET!!! :D NOW I feel lazy! LOL I only photo'd some knives today. Nice pix, thanks for postin'! :thumbup::thumbup:

i really really like the magnums, so much so that i sent my FSH back to Busse to have mags put on it. i'm sure they would take care of yours as well

That's not a bad idea....then a little bead blast finish just to finish it off :D
 
i kinda wish i had got the LE, though i'm not sure you could get mags on it...or did it come with mags? for that matter could you get any handle on it that wanted? cause i seem to recall a thread where a gentleman had an LE with green handles on it.

The LEs were standard with Tiger Magnums.

The LE with standard green linen was a special one. It was requested by Jerry's delivery driver from the liquor store. ;)

Sweet pics, those FBM's chop like CRAZY, mine has just seemed to get better with use. Keep it up!
 
Great pictures, looks like you had a good time working out with the choppers. It also looks like your neighbor has a tree that needs cutting. :D
