Just received this Feather Damascus Stag Bowie from Seattle maker David Lisch, who was part of the Artisans of Cutlery booth at BLADE this summer. We hashed out the details at Blade in June, and it's already here! Great job and many thanks, Dave.

As Dave has already posted his own thread in the Custom subforum, I decided to post one here in Traditional for our own special group of blade brothers. Total length is 12-5/8 inches, while the blade is 7" tip to plunge. Weight is 358 grams, or 12.6 ounces, and the balance point is right behind the guard where the forefinger grips. Enjoy the pics!

This baby is beautiful, fast and deadly-- kind of like the black mamba, eh!?! :p

Thanks for the nice words, fellas. Tony, I'll be having a sheath made for it sometime in the near future.

Jeff Thanks for the kind words it was good working with you on this knife your input helped it to be a very cool knife. Nice pics too thank you

Hi Jeff...man that is one awesome Bowie, thank you very much for sharing that with us.
David... fantastic talent.....I love that knife!!

Thanks for all the great comments. David Lisch is really a great guy to work with besides his talent. He took all of my suggestions and really melded them into a completely satisfying experience for me. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Jeff - That's gotta be the nicest looking Bowie I've seen in quite some time. The blade is just beautiful as is the grip. The "S" shaped guard really sets it off and the point isn't an over exaggerated clip point -- just right -- subtle.
