I'm at the point of cutting my billet for the feather part of Ws damascus and I want make sure i'm cutting on the correct side. is the split going to be on the last stack side of the billet then turn 90 degrees to slice into blades? thanks

You split in the same direction that you draw and restack, not perpendicular.

Hoss, I see some nice examples of feather damascus in the gallery on your website.
Did you ever offer it in billets for sale?
I don't recall seeing it when I was choosing patterns.

Occasionally, I did carbon and stainless, the stainless had more failure than I could afford.
