Buck just sent me this, so I got mine. It comes with a leather sheath and a display box that's branded on the side with all the info, and a COA. They're the last 100 to be made, 75th anniversary, and CJ Buck signed them.

Well, they're made to be collectors, that's why there are only 100 made...
true....but someone might use it and i guess they could.

i dont collect to just collect i like to use....so i struggle sometimes with thinking of collectibles as only that to be looked at and lightly handled. talking signed bucks and gold etched etc ones. i like looking at them just dont want to own them.

I got the collecting disease when I was a kid, my Mom would drag me to all the auctions so she could get the stuff she collected...It's a sickness!!!

Truly a miracle. Chuck signed them from Heaven.

I'm a little disappointed. Was saving money the past few weeks hoping to snag the next 'Knife of The Month' before they sold out. But just never been into signed blades so I passed. Will have to wait and see what's offered for March.

The email I got was time stamped at 11:01:09 and they were gone somewhere around 2:00. Were they worth more than $55.00 over a standard 75th anniversary model for their future collectability?

Pretty sure "CJ" is short for Chuck Jr. so yes.... Chuck Buck did sign them.

Is it a limited edition or a standard knife with a signature?
If you missed out you should be able to get one off the Bay soon.

I agreed fully that's why I passed. I don't even think they are serialized. But to each his own apparently alot if people thought it was worth it.

Marketing magic. "There's only a few and they're going fast!! Hurry!!!"
Go figure. It's a 119.

:)

To the right person, these features mean everything. To others they mean very little. To each his or her own. And it's not for anyone to judge. Enjoy it or be happy for those that will.

I'm surprised they aren't stamped or etched with the month and year. I like the program. Just because the first two didn't get my money doesn't mean I'm not looking forward to the next.
