I've looked through the threads at Tech Support and have not found this issue raised, so I'll post here and hope someone has an answer....

I've had a couple transactions that were not done through BF--a knife scale purchase from a registered Service Provider and parts received from the CS of a listed Manufacturer. The aforementioned Feedback area is where threads regarding such transactions would normally be posted.

When I go there I find a "you do not have sufficient privileges" note where the Start Thread button would normally be. Is this area temporarily or permanently closed, under re-construction, or what?

Both the parties I've mentioned certainly deserved thumbs-up for their service and products and I'd like to be able to provide that for them.

Thanks,
CP

If it was done off BladeForums, you can't leave feedback for it. You can start a Feedback thread for that person, but actual XenTrader Feedback requires a valid thread in one of the designated Exchange forums that both parties have participated in.

Thanks for the reply, Spark. I wasn't trying to leave XenTrader Feedback, as I know that can't be done without the Exchange thread. I was trying to create a thread here, as I have in the past for similar transactions. That's where I got the "insufficient privileges" button at the bottom instead of Start Thread.

Yeah, permissions are still wonky in the Feedback forum. I can't start a thread there either.

Since it's somewhat related, ATG and KMG have permission issues as well.

Try posting a feedback thread now.

Kiah, I'll look at ATG & KMG

Feedback forum working for me now.

Works for me too, Spark. Thanks for the fix and for all you're doing to make this place even better.

Knifemaker's areas should be working.

All good. :lots of thumbsup:

Closing thread then.
