This issue is becoming annoying slowly. I've ignored it for a while, but thought now is the time to post a question.

So, my feedback is:

Feedback Score: 42
Positive Feedback: 97.7%
Members who left positive: 43
Members who left negative: 1
Total positive feedback: 47

How is this percentage calculated? 42/43 = 97.7%. I get it. But, this percentage hasn't changed for EVER! The one negative feedback happened 4-years ago for a transaction that never occurred. I think it should be removed.

Mods/administrators... I'd appreciate any feedback on this.

Thank you.

Only Spark can change feedback.

Go to the feedback line and find the triangle icon.
Click on it and explain the problem in the dialog box.

Funny, because I have almost the same exact score. My one negative was when I was a buyer and paid immediately and in full. What showed up at the post office was an empty box. On the Postmaster's advice, I did not take possession and did not accept delivery. The seller said it was my problem. So when I filled out the feedback section, I honestly put that the transaction was a negative experience because I did not get the knife, just an empty box. The seller then gave me a negative rating because I gave him one.

Eventually, after a discussion on the good, bad and ugly section, the seller accepted the advice of others and nicely agreed to send me a replacement knife. We both explained the situation and asked Spark to erase the negative ratings. Spark did not reply, and that negative rating has followed me ever since.

But anyone can look at my full ratings and see that I'm a good person to deal with. So you can try emailing Spark, but if it does no good, I think you just learn to live with it. One bad rating out of that many is very good.

sounds bad, similar stuff happens on ebay all the time so they have the "seller can't neg buyers for neg experience." which can backfire of course

not to hijack your thread or anything, but I have a question on how to have one's feedback displayed on threads?

There are a few people out there that should have some incorrectly issued negative ratings reversed/deleted. It's sad that so many people put stock in that rating system and at someone else's whim they get a negative mark because they got pissed or something about the deal. If anything, those should just be scrubbed.
