Feedback in For Sale

So I just went back and reread this post just as a refresher. I noticed that there is not an exception for posting comments in for sale threads in the makers section. I see a lot of "sweet knife" type posts in the makers section, and have certainly been guilty of such posts myself. I was thinking that section was different than the for sale by individuals section, but was apparently mistaken. In an effort to be a rules abiding citizen I thought I would ask here, is it or is it not acceptable to give compliments in the makers for sale section?

Thanks for letting me know.

We allow comments in Knifemaker sales posts because ... the ordinary seller has one knife to sell, the knifemaker can reproduce the knife he is selling. He can take orders for that style or a modified version. The sales thread becomes an ad for the knifemaker's ability as much as for the item shown.

Even so, any significant feedback should go in FEEDBACK, where it will do the knifemaker more good than just stroking his ego, it will introduce him to new customers.

I figured it was allowed since so much of it goes on and I had yet to see a reprimand. Lots of nice knives are posted but most of us can only afford so many so true feedback can't always be given, but ego stroking based on photos is plentiful. Thanks for the reply.
