Hi guys,

I'm thinking about buying one. What do you guys think of this knife? Or how about the 112 Pro TRX?

I'm in my 50s and owned buck knives growing up. It might be fun to carry a modernized classic.

Thanks,
Dave

I say 'go for it'. My main EDC now is the 110 Slim Pro. If I had the 112 Slim Pro first I most likely would be carrying it.

Been carrying my 112 TRX for about a week now. I have medium sized hands (on a good day) so it’s the perfect size for me. It’s nice and thin so it sits nicely in the pocket as well. And typical Buck, my TRX was and still is insanely sharp right from the box. Most of the time I let the TRX sit at the bottom of my pocket since I’ve never really been a knife clip fan, but I think Buck did a real nice job with the clip they put on the TRX. The knife sits nice and low and it’s secure when using the clip. That sucker doesn’t move when clipped unlike some knives I’ve tried. Still I prefer bottom of the pocket but it’s nice to know the clip is there.

Super happy with the knife and I feel it has the perfect balance between classic and modern. The problem now is I want ALL the colors.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm glad Buck is doing well and changing their designs to stay competitive.

Dave, just an observation. I would love to own an example of the marbled carbon version, as I prefer the 112 over the 110 variants. However, as a lefty, the inability to reverse the clip for lefty carry makes it a no-go for me. Good luck in the search, and let us know, aka post pics, of your ultimate decision.
